 Is mediation countercyclical? Not if mediators Bill Wood QC and Patrick Walker can help it. Between them they will be covering nearly 500 miles in two separate charitable cycling efforts over the coming months. Bill Wood QC (pictured) is taking on a hefty 350-mile ride from Cherbourg to Paris in support of Help for Heroes over the Whitsun Vacation. Patrick Walker is taking on the Fred Whitton challenge, a 112-mile ride, including, he assures us, most of the steepest hills in the Lake District. He is doing so for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
